Steve is pursuing a PhD in Materials Chemistry at NYU Tandon. He graduated from Drexel University in 2014 with a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering. Prior to NYU, he was a process development engineer for Johnson Matthey Clean Air. His current research in the Hybrid Nanomaterials Laboratory is focused on colloidal synthesis and functionalization of 2D nanomaterials for catalysis. Aside from research, he also publishes memos on science policy and works on charity fundraising initiatives through the livestreaming organization, Rupeethon. In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy novels and walking his dog, Estelle.
